New from Team Losi for their 1/8th tire balancer is this Short Course wheel balancer adapter set which converts it into a 1/10th SC wheel balancer. Designed to balance all manufactures wheels it can be mounted quickly and comes supplied with everything needed to make the conversion.

I knocked this up from some scrap wood and and old hub carrier. Cost nowt.

however i do need to take the driveshaft off the car and fit it onto here to use it.
The 4 nuts are to space it away so the wheel spins freely.

blu-tac... tried my kids play-doh, but it dried out and shrunk a bit. so it fell off!

Clay or lead tape works well.

The bigger the wheel, the more important it is to balance them properly or the vibrations will ruin bearings. I'd balance the wheels of anything 1/8th buggy size or bigger, but it depends how much you want to look after your £3/4/500 car.

tbh, as a basher, i never bother to balance my wheels, mainly because by the time you've finished all that lovely effort you'll take it out and there'll be a puddle and all of your effort will go down the drain.
