The HPI F3.5 Pro engine has been developed especially for off road racing.

The HPI engraved oversized cooling head not only looks great but has been has been drilled and lowered over the crankcase for maximum heat dissipation and keep that all important C of G as low as possible. It fits on top of a separate Turbo combustion chamber. A finned black-coated crankcase design not only adds strength and rigidity but will also help cool the engine.

The F3.5 Pro is a 5 port 3.49cc ABC engine and has been optimised for performance and durability without compromising on run time. Tested with the HB and HPI Racing teams with great success (UK National A Finalist already) the F3.5 Pro is an engine that can win at the highest level at a price that's ultra competitive.

HPI F3.5 Pro Features:

14mm crankshaft
5 ports + 2 by pass
Composite slide carburettor with interchangeable 8mm and 7mm venturi
Black coated finned designed crankcase

Sounds pretty good to me!!
Better than the 2.5 HP that you get with the Nitrostar 3.5 you get in the car as standard!
I wonder what the Price is gonna be?

Sounds like they have a very optimistic dyno at HPI. Most race engines quoted figures don't even get close to that.

Figures like 50.000 RPM and 3.3hp sounds like too much of a fairytale to be believed.. Excuse me be being a bit cynical and all! If they're true though then on paper it outperforms any other .21 engine out there, which make them seem even more unlikely.
