Hi Guys my missus got me this for my birthday ,spent last few nights making it.!
Got the Acoms period controller from eBay and gave it a good old cleanPosted Image

£6 or £10 posted result its mint to just paired it to a cheapo acoms servo and reciever,happy days

Love the old school Techniplus cnotrollers, I still use my original from 93. Shame that they decided to change them to the plastic-craptastic Autobot butt cheek design.

Liking the Hornet too, I should really post my ThunderDragon one day :)

Looks great but are your front wheels on the correct way round? I'm fairly sure the screws are meant to face out?

:lol: Well spotted,yeah they are the wrong way round.Both sides have bearings,so its a simple mistake to get it the wrong way! :lol:

Nice Hornet mate,looks perfect in box art :)

I can remember building one of thought in 1990 for my friends cousin.
Was fun to build!!

Great build and good job on the decals there are a bit of a pain around the rear of the car.

Oddly enough I built one of these and for some reason the screws that they give you to use on the front wheels are slightly too long so if you fit them the right way around the screws mash into the steering knuckles and prevent them from spinning. No harm in putting them the other way :]

:huh: Thats odd.Ive never had a re-re Hornet,but the orginial ones ive had in the past,never did that,thats strange :lol:
