Hey guys and girls :)

This is my latest project -  A scale Axial SCX10 :)

It arrived last week from modelsport, and i literally ripped the electrics out and stuck on a load of scale bits during the past few days

The stock 27T motor and standard ESC have been replaced with a Novak Rooster 55T crawler combo, along with a 14T pinion for plenty of torque :)

As for the scale bits, these are:

Shackles fitted to the front and rear bumper
Snorkel sprayed in Matt black
Light bar off a modern 3-speed Tamiya Hilux
Some rope
Peices of wood
Sand ladders, sprayed in gun smoke then sanded down to make them look more weathrised/realistic
A Tamiya Hilux exhaust, again sanded down so it looks more real
Fire extinguisher
Jerry can on the back
Some scale sheet (the red thing next to the spare wheel at the back)
An extra brake light at the back(just under the rope)
Ive also sprayed the centre caps for the wheels in Matt black as well
And finally a tow bar  randomally thought of it and picked out a ball joint from my spares, drilled the bumper and screwed it on

Who else Posted Image

Plus Rc-Mart for the bull bar & lights.

I like the cheap 3Racing copy LED kit best though, working high beam, indicators, brake lights etc.

Adds an extra touch.

Still looking for a decent scale driver and maybe passenger though, don't really want a camp wrestler Posted Image

Ooooooo now that is a nice bit of kit Posted Image

Im loving all the scaler parts, with the right setting and correct camera angle you could fool a few people into thinking it was real Posted Image

Saw one of these in the flesh in Cornwall the other day. Very nice bit of kit. The body shell weighs a tonne.

Only slight reservation on them is the cockpit details. It just looks a little out of proportion from some angles.

The wheel arches however look awesome. :good:

Modelsport price matched it for £253 and i had £5 loyatly off so £248.The scale bits were roughly another £20 ish and the electrics came out my other crawler.
