If you compare a car that's £1500 more than the v4, the fg with hydros yes I agree, the v4 I have studied a lot trying to figure it out,and
how the ultimate will use most of it's parts and be the only one that will convert later this year and the changes and reasons for them
are long and complicated but all good, will post some pics soon. VMPosted Image

The V4 looks absolutely georgous, and I'm sure will perform well - just wish MCD would do something about their horendous pricing on parts.
Just remember we were told the V3 would be upgradable to the V4 - I hope the same lie for your sake doewsn't apply to the ultimate.

Me to,but after much research on the v4 inc this latvian picture gallery http://fotki.lv/lv/A...ments-29981584/ I am reasonably
confident that it will all come out in the wash,it all depends how much it costs and if it's worth it for my type of use,a lot can happen
in a year.I have to agree a lot of misinformation was about on mcd,but I think the uk was out of the loop on MCD info and released
the info they had,and worried the ---- out of current owners, but the real winners are those that bought at big savings.

I do like the looks of the new version, but not enough to want to sell my Evo3.

I do think the gear cover is a good idea....and will be looking to see if it possible to retrofit it to mine. Keeping the grit off the gears would be good. I am still running plastic gears, but if I went to metal I would want to run them greased, and I can see the grease would not stay, pbut would end up fired all around the inside of the shell....even with good chain grease.

The new shell really does maki it look like a 1/8th buggy when you see it without a scale reference. Making windows tickers not clear adds to that, as you don;t get that peek inside. Don't know if I like that....but I do like hte new shape. It looks a lot more sleek.

All I need now is to start buying those lottery tickets and crossing my fingers!

Got to agree with nitroholic, the shell looks sleek and nice, but the cheap window stickers, with the roll cage penciled in look ---- it's a cheap
way of doing a painted shell, spray the whole thing one colour then put stickers on.I think masking the windows, evenif you paint them
another colour, looks far better, and frames set the whole look off.
