They did it a few years ago with the old T2R, it was a fab car and demand outstripped production, so they took it off the market and dropped the price of the regular 007.

This one is bascially a 008 with FRP chassis parts, cheaper driveshafts and steel tie-rods.

Yeah the hard coated alu blocks do look tasty...might have to get some for the XT8 if i break the plastic ones.

The orange on the 009 is a limited edition aparently, i heard there will be other colours available but the colours haven't been anounced yet. If they do teh bulkheads etc on the 009 in black with silver edges (like the shock towers on xt8 etc) then that would be bloody awesome  B)

Ouch, thought it might have been a little bit less than that to compete with the HB Cyclone S. Still, if Cyclone goes balls up next year, it will make an appearance on eBay to make way for one of these.

To be honest, the T2R Pro is a mugh higher spec than the Cyclone S. You'd have to add alloy bulkheads, motor mount, shock parts and a spool to bring it to the same spec as a T2R Pro, and that would be a lot more than £65 (even with 3Racing parts).

hmmm it seems a tad cheap, especially as some places are selling the tc5 for £225 now, and the new schumacher for £189 thought xray would have been a little more competative.

Ah right. Would the T2R Pro be better than my Cyclone with a few 3Racing alloys bits on it that almost bring it up to WCE spec?

For carpet, no, it'd be too flexy. I'd look on eBay for a secondhand (but mint) T2'008US. :D
