New Era Models introduces the first RC Nitro Mega Crawler. This beast built using New Era 4 Link conversion parts for the Mad Force Axles. The center trunk is a modified Revo plate coupled to New Era Aluminum Crawler Sides and hooked up using the New Era big block conversion for the Revo. The drive shafts are heavy duty stainless steel. This mega crawler can climb up anything with the power of the big block and utilizing the true 4 link suspension. Max articulation height is a whopping 11 inches. Prototype beadlock rims are connected to the Mad Force axles using New Era’s billet aluminum T-Maxx Adapters. The nitro crawler has the capability to climb the steepest rock piles as well as leaving a dirt rooster tail in a hill climb. This machine not only looks like the real thing it acts like it too!! Adjustability is the key when adjusting to the terrain and this crawler has plenty of it.

The axles are modified mad force axles. These axles are tried and true and very tough since they originate in a nitro vehicle. It is shown with the plastic axles an all aluminum axle is available. The 4-link setup and servo mounts are all New Era. The 4-Link mounting setup is key to getting the proper crawler geometry and the behind the axle steering setup provides positive response while protecting the servo.

The center chassis is a modified revo chassis mounted up to the New Era Crawler sides. The big block .21 is mounted to the chassis using the New Era Revo Big block conversion. An oversize head has been installed to provide cooling during slow moving crawling activities. The axles are built using the New Era super duty stainless drive shafts and cups.

The axles are connected to the chassis using custom billet aluminum links. HPI savage shocks are connected the chassis with custom extension plates and then to the links with the New Era original sliding shock adjusters. The sliding shock adjuster provides excellent fast tuning of the suspension for different terrain. Of course there are many holes in the chassis to provide even more suspension tuning.

The nitro crawler can tame even the toughest terrain. It has the guts to conquer many obstacles that an electric may not be able to handle. The brake could be connected to a third channel to provide a drag type setup also. Basically the nitro crawler can go anywhere an electric can go and beyond. These custom nitro crawlers as well as many electric crawler options are available from New Era Models. New Era has been an innovator in 4 link suspensions, custom chassis design and upgrades for over 20 years.

its a shame that crawlers look so god dam ugly!!

Love to watch them define what most RC's can do tho...
Just a shame that they've never got a nice looking one...
