hey guys, sorry to hijack.  i am also looking to get an erevo.  at the mo, im having difficulty deciding between 2 7cell numh's or a pair of 2s lipos to use in it.  the lipos are clearly more expensive.  thats not really a problem.  what i am worried about is the difference in performance.  will i get the same acceleration/top speed from 2s lipos as i would from 7cell nimhs?

The lipos will perform better - get the lipos if money isn't an issue as they don't have a cooling problem like NiMH's. Remeber to get a 4S cutoff at the same time as the batteries and a lipo charger, if you haven't got one.

Talk to bluefisherking about the Kershaw 700HO's as he's got a pair in his e-revo :good: He's got a post about them here:good:

C rating is the discharge rate. The higher the rating, the faster the battery will run out, but you will get more power. I would go for the 4900mah one.

You are better off buying more expensive and high grade packs. Make sure you also buy a LiPo sock for charging. I take it that you have a charger for LiPo?
