Any better UK price anywhere?

Am really tempted,

:)
tbh the longer i look at it the better i seem to be liking it now. i don't really like 4wd and as long as something is done about that body its ok.

I very much doubt you getting it any cheaper than that at this early stage,Modelsport UK still remain one of the best shops for low prices and will normally price match any other shop.... ;)

i agree totally, the baja is epic but not that epic, its definatly worth re-designing the thing, at least a new chassis and suspension if nothing else

I don't know how you can say that the Baja 5b isn't an epic, its a legend that reinvented the largescale scene, the whole petrol thing wouldn't be as big or as popular as it is if HPI hadn't designed the Baja. The chassis doesn't need any redesign, its perfectly balanced as is and its the 5b was the first totally new design to come out in a while.FG made a living from reinventing the same chassis thats 20 years old and still are doing, this is the first variant of the Baja and I welcome it,as soon as they finalize the planning of the new MT thats rumoured and based on the earlier pics of the K1-Gladiator that they have supposed to have bought, then you'll see a Savage like,TVP chassied,1/5th MT.... :)

well if the design does everything it needs to do well why redesign it.

If HPI ever do release a 4wd 1/5 Savage like truck it'll be over a grand and to be quite honest if I were to spend so much on a 4wd it'd be a MCD Baja 1000 Evo 3 or the MCD Monster truck. This truck below would be a good design for an HPI Savage type 1/5,its the K1-Racing Gladiator 4wd,chain driven 1/5 with Zen 26 and 4ws too, this is a small company in Aus that build them to order I think, not sure wether or not its in full production but there were rumours that HPI were intterested in the design of it.I think it looks the dogs and well designed apart from the side tank which could have the same lean tank issues as the Savage... :)

I got mine from MMR for £799 delivered.I got the black one so i can do a monster energy design on it.Rush-evo is rite when he says these things are huge!!Until you see one in real life you wont believe how big it is.It makes my 5B look like a nitro :P .
