Making it's way as an advert in one of the pages of Xtreme RC Mag is the new HoBao Hyper 9. Following similar design cues from the ST Mini: most notably a tilted engine.

I'm pretty sure that car has a small block engine, judging by the small air filter. Doubt its the hyper 9. Still anxious to find out what it is

thats not an airfilter its the top of the carb
i think its most likely a mini hyper 8 or possibly even an early picture of the mini ST
deffinatly dont think its a hyper 9

Dunno what the significance of the large number 9 is in the back ground then lol.

I think we'll just have to wait and see on this one you know.

Everything seems very similar to the Mini-ST

Maybe its a Hyper 9 cos the engine is a 0.90 like the other smaller offroad rallycross buggies?

Chris
well it doesnt look like a picture from hobao themselves so will most likely been taken by someone then had the writing put in the background
i think its way too early to bring out a hyper 9 the 8.5 wasnt long ago

I agree with rcsammy, look at the turnbuckles, they look really thin compared to the ones on other Hypers, they look more like touring car turnbuckles.
