RE: Dropload host

What is Dropload?

Dropload is a place for you to drop your files off and have them picked up by someone else at a later time. Recipients you specify are sent an email with instructions on how to download the file. Files are removed from the system after 7 days, regardless if they have been picked up or not. You can upload any type of file, mp3, movies, docs, pdfs, up to 100MB each! Recipients can be anyone with an email address

It is free, I've tried.

Your work deserves to be seen.

You've made a great video. Now who will watch it?

Whether you produce hundreds of titles a year or just a few, you can give your videos the recognition and visibility they deserve by promoting them on Google - for free. Signing up for the Google Video Upload Program will connect your work with users who are most likely to want to view them.

Google vid is easy todo :D - i've done it once

Just may take a while to upload if u have a slow connection...

With Google there is a period where some 1 at google have to sit and watch all the video's submitted - so u have to wait about 3 - 7 days

www.imageshack.us

Do a video upload

That is 1 i have tired...

It requires you to download an AWFUL tool bar - it annoys the hell out of me - so i removed it :)

Its fairly slow - but is instant Viewing :)

But the quality gets reduced a little

hi

am i right in sayiny 100mb is 5 minutes of video time?on photobucket this is all you are allowed ,which other server allows more for free downloads

cheers

If it was that bad wed have 50gb movies (excluding bluray) lol. Nah there is no set "time to size" ratio! It all depends on factors like, quality, audio, compression type etc etc etc. 100mb can be quite a long time in terms of a video.

For instance take a look at youtube videos, most 5min vids on there are no more then 10mb! That same movie could also be 350mb or so. it really depends on, as i said before, the quality of the video, audio and compression type!

Hope that helps a little!
