How to improve a TT02D-S Type chassis

Barry Thomson

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I'm not new to RC but am new to drifting - I've just bought and put together a Tamiya TT02D S Type chassis and run it at an indoor drift circuit with some great results (Better than I thought it would be).

I'm after some advice though on what (If anything) I could or should upgrade on the chassis to really improve it and help it last.

I've had a quick look at some of the hop up parts on the market but don't just want to start spending and making no improvements.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

CVS?

Not sure what the CVS stands for I'm afraid. The kit shocks are oil dampened with a medium weight spring. The shock body is moulded plastic with a set of spacers for adjustment rather than a threaded case and nut.
