so much for my dominator arriving tomorrow

Showed in stock last night when I ordered it from freeprawn.  Got an email this afternoon that said it's on backorder....Is it that hard to keep an inventory up-to-date?  I was hoping the freeprawn online shop was going to be better than MMR which has all sorts of issues with showing incorrect stock levels.  Maybe not.

It's quite hard actually, when Nige does it all by himself, on top of E-Mails, phone calls, getting items sent etc... Sometimes things slip through the net.

Give him a ring and speak with him, he's definitely one of the good ones!

second that mate freeprawn get my vote

I prefer abbots never missed a beat, come think of it MMR ain't either.

I personally have had quite a few orders delayed or on back order, and now only use if needs must. IE in no rush or nobody else has what I need, I think based on my experience Nige post late in the day.

Does happen quite offten with freeprawn, but he usually gets them back in stock quite quickly. What I like about freeprawn is the variety of parts listed compared to abbots, which seem to have stopped listing a lot of things, kraken bumper, light rack, turtle racing clutch systems etc

Well that's does that then ordered a 1107 on the 31st paid 07:27 and guess what, no carb today and no post tomorrow.

Just looked and now states. 3-10 delivery, when I ordered it was in stock and no email to confirm otherwise.

Abbots MMR all the way from now on.

I guess it depends on what you want and how busy he happens to be.

I've placed orders from between 1 item and about 15 items in one go and always had superb service.

I understand it happens but seems to be 90% of my orders, abbots works alone and by far had better service 100% no delays.

I need the wrap around dominator for the 5T, not the one that goes out the back of the car. Free prawn were the only ones to have it in stock and I paid the priority delivery charge just so I could get everything setup over the bank holiday weekend ( lots of time to play).

If I'd known it was not in stock I wouldn't have bought it, instead I was all ready to get my tools out and get my baja in top tune for track time on Monday and now I can't. It's just a bit of an anti-climax.

Andy, how quickly do you want (need) a pipe? I've got a predator pipe in loverly condition, if you want to collect that?

Thanks mate but it's not the pipe style I want unfortunately.

same shape as the thor pipe... CPI is the original from which the thor is cloned.

2 piece pipe flatout, can be, but depend on the pipe i'll get in return, it currently on my baja, so removing it will stop me using said baja unless i swap for another pipe, or sell for enough pennys to get a replacement.

got a pic if anyone wants/needs it, if not i can leave it on the baja until someone does, no need to rush, i'm just after something different, preferably something for lower cc engines.

If i was you pal id keep the dom pipe on and buy a little silencer for it, its easy done, bit of imagination and wa la! Silenced dom,

better than paying trough the nose for the original dominator,

I must admit the dominator looks nicer than the clone for sure, but the money I paid for the clone and the performance it gave my baja id be inclined to silence the pipe you have, ;)

and i think the cpi isn't joined at the pig tail, its at the manifold, witch is a lot better because the clone is always blowing the coupling to bits and chucking the seal out, but that's easy fix aswell, mmr sell a coupling for it, it looks like you get a good clamp on the joint, its got a allen hex bolt in it rather than the r clip to hold it in place, the thour pipe i have is brand new just about, 1 or 2 tanks throu it and then i put the dom on, would never change it, only for the original dominator that is lol! :)

Edited by flatout!
