flatout!
Im in debate at the minute, kraken or rpm, this is somthing thats very important to me as the rigidity is none existant with these km suspension arms, theres that much play in the rear hubs and its coming from the bottom rear suspension arms, just were the pins go through the squat plates, thay twist like crazy, don't like it at all, you set somthing up right and it pulls somthing else out of line, iv seen these shim kits and there a waist of time if the dam arms have this much flex in them, Who's running what and what have the breakages been like on both, rpm and kraken? What's the firmest out of them
patriots-1
Rpm ive seen kraken break after one run, never had problems with rpm myself

Oh How Original
Definitely RPM... Kraken do have a tendancy to break. Also people have had trouble fitting suspennsion in them and stuff too.
flatout!
I new you have to chop the kraken mark told me about that, the kraken look better, but im after the best rigidity out of them, there so much play in this km set up it'll be doing circles soon lol! It just about got rear steer lol! Theres that much movement in them, its the wear thats done it because they were really snug when it was new, iv tryed shims but the more you put in there the more they wear, making the gap even bigger lol! Seem to be chasing it all the time, i think ill be changing the pins to, but i think ill be making my own pins there just to expensive, just because it's ready made for a rc they charge way to much, and in some cases you can pick the raw materials from a local hardware Edited March 29, 2015 by flatout! Oh How Original
You'll have play/slop no matter what set up you run, changing your arms won't remove that. That's just wear on components that move. Not to mention it does help with impacts too. Ignore it
flatout!
There's not a chance in this world that's normal, and these km arms are very soft, hence its wearing so quickly, a harder material and a couple of shims before the pins will stop the slop, iv proven that with these km ones with shimming, but because the km arms are sort it wears, harder arms will do the trick, no way im leaving it this way it'll wear tyres off man, just like if your tracking was out on your car you use every day, you cant leave them rubbing rubber off
Oh How Original
I'm actually not 100% sure where you're meanig the wear is to be honest. Not noted anyone else complain from over wear on their arms before. From any brand actually... Especially on a newish Baja.
flatout!
Its the rear bottom, there really soft and twist, its not actually in the arms as such, its mainly in the pins and then the arms don't help, I no its only a model and not a real motor, but im sure ill be a lot better with new nylons and hinge pins, ill do a video before I change them and show you the play, them irc hinge pins are the cheapest iv seen, not worth looking round to make some at that price, Looks like rpm it is then, cheers guys,
Hawkpalmer
If you get white rpm arms to dye them, make sure you test fit them 1st as you may need to Dremel a little bit off the bottom rears mate! Some ppl dye them then fit and have to cut the arms looool
flatout!
Im getting black ones, going off the gray, its a bit to much everything gray, same with the orange, its all orange lol!
(-:AD:-)
Ive got both. Recently fitted kraken ones. A liitle messing about to get the irc big bores to fit but the standard shocks went in fine without mods. They are alot stiffer than rpm. Rpms flex alot more. Krakens look alot better imo I got the rpms new last Christmas and they do have quite a bit of play in them now(would be ok shimmed up) Theese krakens have tightend it up nicely. I have herd of a couple braking but also know quite a few people use them without issues. Edited March 29, 2015 by (-:AD:-)
flatout!
Iv not herd anyone say they've broken the rpm one yet, thats got to be a + sign, its a shame there not as stiff as kraken and as tuff as rpm lol! I always want what's not there, Still thinking rpm with there not being any reports of brakage, what's this about guarantee? If there guaranteed what's the cover, if you brake them ? Your gunner brake um arnt you? But no one as yet?
Noj
RPM for me, based on not having broken one since fitting them
Titaniumrc
I've used both and still have both on my baja, Kraken and RPM are IMO has good has each other. Not broke any of them come to think of it I never actually broke a stock arm, it's just luck of the draw on how you crash/land after a crash. All arms will have slop around the pins after a short time, also the balls will also have play after a short time this can't be over come due to been plastic. Even the alloy ones will also wear, they are IMO wear times and should be treated has such. Fit what ever brand you like RPM or Kraken sure they brake if you crash just right, but like I said I've not had a problem with any.
