Heatsink trouble for ts4n...nitro

Right I've got a gap between the motor and mill on my ts4n, where I can visibly see the 4 screws that keep the mill attached, I also have gunk gettin spat out all over the place, I tried tightening the screws but no joy,

Somebody said get a shim...

Well I ordered one for a .12 which turned up and is far too small,

Can anybody help me out here, it's the v2 pro as far as I'm aware,

Can anyone link me a shim to close the gap up please ?

Thank you

If the screws are fully tight, and the cooling head is not in contact with the liner....then you have an issue.

It's quite possible the screws are not the originals, and are too long. That would allow them to bottom out and not pull the head down.

Another possibility is you have something missing or wrong or broken. On some heads, the head button is part of the cooling head or attached to it. On others, it's separate. If yours is separate...it may not be the correct part. If you have bought the car like this....it's hard to tell. If it was alright before, and isn't now...then you need to look carefully at how the parts are lining up.

If you have a visible gap, then it's unlikely to just be a shim. They are used to vary the compression and are a fraction of a mm thick. Even with no shims, the cooling head should tighten down
