I'm interested to know aswel. I have an lrp 32 and know the pull start will probably fail.

Tiger drives I think are fairly universal you'll have to check. But hopefully someone posts a UK link to something compatible.

Exactly the same thing happened on my brand new Z28 on the second pull- the knot was too small and pulled through- I brought some of that 'unbreakable' pull start cord off ebay and fitted it (with decent knots) and it's now fine, Luckily I managed to replace it without the spring popping out though.

^^ thanks for link . I see the roto start shaft looks the same as a hpi . So if i bought that i would be able to use a hpi starter ?

Yes hpi rotostart shaft will fit into LRP rotostart backplate LRP38136, you dont need the LRP shaft.

Little update turns out engine is faulty.

Pull start no2 snapped had a look engine very hard to turn by hand but if i loosen the back plate for pull start it turns . Took pull start shaft out and it looks like something has been rubbing on the conrod ....[emoji22]
