Got myself a little MR2 for general weekend work, B-Road antics and the like - cracking buy and bit of kit for little money, holds the road and goes well.. It's a change from the Qashqai anyway...  Weighs 975kg and has 140bhp so it's nippy (not rapid) - revs very well, vvti 1.8 Toyota lump.

Oh and yeah if you want me to come and cut your hair my diary is free :) lol...

Yeah I cleaned it...

Expected a good Toyota :( what a disappointment lol (thought it was a Hilux)

Expected a 'good' Toyota  :36_11_6[1]:

i see you have the chairs out  so everyone can sit and look at it.

Lol that's up my grandad's - he's a typical oldie, sits out people watching and smoking!

I did... A proper one.

Manly, off road, 4x4.

Not an actual toy :tease::lol:

Very manly  :whistling:  :whistling:

There's that word 'Manly' again lol.. Will I be man enough when I am blatting around the Nurburgring in it this summer? or Brands Hatch, Donnington, Oulton Park etc, a 4x4 Hilux is not really going to do that for me!  That's why I got a built for purpose 2 seater! :)

Hmmm, in my eyes? Not at all, Nurburgring is a fad/gimmick IMO.

Sounds quite entertaining in a D2 though

I've been on there on my Motorbike, it's no gimmick, it's real.. Both arms went numb I was gripping that hard lol..  160mph with a 911 turbo and McLaren MP4 up my chuf was quite daunting tbh, or maybe that's me not being manly enough?....  :tease:

You will, the wookie's wagon may struggle, especially two up!

Not my choice of motor, damned nice weekend toy though :)

Ahh got ya!

Yeah I got it as a weekend and mess about track day car, I did look at a few others - Lotus Elise - too serious and too expensive, MX-5 - Missus dad has one and it's good but the MR2 is better, S2000 - My first choice but a good one is expensive and couldn't justify the price.

I have however budgeted for the Bubblegum pink respray.. and an overly-orange tan for my good self :)

Defo not a manly car for daily use but it's probably top 5 for track days. Cheap , light , modern and MR. The engines on these are still over the rear axle aren't they.

One of my wishes is to spend a day in a 1980s Mercedes Evo touring at nurburg. The black one with big wing I used that car the most on gt5 sliding around it was ace.

It's nothing like driving it for real tho lol I heard a biker saying he thought that until he went and said the track is rough and alot bumpier. I hope I get to try it out some day.

Laguna seca is my favourite track around tho ide like to take an old muscle car around that. Picks lotto numbers....

A new pipe airfilter and a remap will do this wonders :)

This will be happening once I save up a few more coins :)

So would a mahoosive turbo/supercharger, or a gt4 engine transplant ;)

Too manly for me Noj, the faster I go the more my hair gets messed up so I don't go above 30.  :xd:

Are you badmouthing the Myfennium Falcon Noj??? She'll crack 18 mins four up, which is more than the MR2 can manage lol
