HYPER-BOY Posted March 6, 2015 Share Posted March 6, 2015 (edited) Got myself a little MR2 for general weekend work, B-Road antics and the like - cracking buy and bit of kit for little money, holds the road and goes well.. It's a change from the Qashqai anyway... Weighs 975kg and has 140bhp so it's nippy (not rapid) - revs very well, vvti 1.8 Toyota lump. Oh and yeah if you want me to come and cut your hair my diary is free lol... Yeah I cleaned it... Will I be man enough when I am blatting around the Nurburgring in it this summer? or Brands Hatch, Donnington, Oulton Park etc, a 4x4 Hilux is not really going to do that for me! Sounds quite entertaining in a D2 though I've been on there on my Motorbike, it's no gimmick, it's real.. Yeah I got it as a weekend and mess about track day car, I did look at a few others - Lotus Elise - too serious and too expensive, MX-5 - Missus dad has one and it's good but the MR2 is better, S2000 - My first choice but a good one is expensive and couldn't justify the price. The engines on these are still over the rear axle aren't they. One of my wishes is to spend a day in a 1980s Mercedes Evo touring at nurburg. The black one with big wing I used that car the most on gt5 sliding around it was ace. It's nothing like driving it for real tho lol I heard a biker saying he thought that until he went and said the track is rough and alot bumpier. I hope I get to try it out some day.
