Gwigga
I've just finally picked up some 25% nitro and the stuff I used previously was quite a lot lower %. Should I reset all needle settings or go from where I am?
eamo1978
Bit vague. What engine and size is it?
brit_bulldog
Yes you will need to re-tune. Also be careful mixing fuels. if you have gone from pure organic oil version to a fully synthetic budget fuel you could have issues!
Gwigga
I knew I would have to retune but should I put it back to factory and start from there I've got some nitro called hotfirehttp://www.jrracing.co.uk/product/racing-fuel-hotfire-euro25-5-litres/ Looks like both of them are synthetic Edited March 4, 2015 by Gwigga
hipwell
Start it up and see how it runs then tune from there. It's not going to be massively out. It will be obvious straight away weather it needs leaning or Making richer If resetting to factory before changing fuel your still going to have to tune it anyway, at least going from where you are currently at you will be in the ballpark.
