my fg baja needles are messed up,

she will start and rev then cut, if i apply throttle she cuts, the idle screw also i have no idea what its doing and the stock setting for it? 

after full throttle she stays high revving? please help

Have a look round mate theres loads of threads and sites that tell you what the settings are :) then use your ears and eyes and you will know whats best for your car :)

ugh its a real pain 

Welcome to 1/5th scale :)

 

I would give you a hand mate but its full of moaning old bags round here and even just been moaned at for the brushless Apache LMFAO! and one of reasons i got rid of my 5th scales :(

 

can't go anywhere either cos am waiting for a parcel.

ahaha got the day off tomorrow so was gonna go round waterhead park while theres no muppets about haha, reset it to factory now so going to see if it works ive also put the idle screw in fully and will move it out until it starts

oops looks like the heads rattled its way loose hahahaaha that must be the problem, loctite them now ahahah

DOH!

 

Been there done that :)

Not like this lol.

 

So far from memory and in the last week or so

 

Stripped the plug hole threads

Fitted new head and fitted the ring wrong

pulled the wires off the coil pack

Had the carb come loose

And now the head as come loose.

 

All this on a car thats hardly run.

 

I would think with all the aire leaks that engine is about ready for the bin.

 

As i said engines arnt for every one so maybe a brushless conversion would better suit his needs.

so when i said in my pm to check all the bolts you read just run it and hope for the best? :lol:

RM mentioning brushless in a largescale...am i on the right planet?
