Hypernewboy81
Hi all I have been a member on this forum for about a year apart from my 1st hello this is the 1st time I have been on here since . I am not into rc in a big way I owned a hyper7 and enjoy going out with it but the whole working on it and changing things really scare me as I am not car or mechanic minded where as my friends are converting and changing things I shy away so today I am really pleased with myself for changing an servo horn no mean feet by some peoples standerds but still really pleased with my self thanks Danny for the help hopefully this will be the start of me getting my car to the darth maul I had planned when I 1st got my car.

Anthoop
Think the arm is the wrong way around....it should be pointing towards the fuel tank when the wheels are straight.

autobutcher
Yeah cheers mate some one else has pointed this out to me as well oh well so much for thinking I did well lolYou had a go at it mate, that's the main thing, next job won't seem so daunting. When I started with rc's I took a wheel off and it took me about 5hrs to get the thing on again before I worked out I had left the wheel hex off! Last week I stripped my lads Slash down completely, cleaned, rebuilt, went for a test run and left the motor and esc at home!

Anthoop
Yeah cheers mate some one else has pointed this out to me as well oh well so much for thinking I did well lol Everyone has to start somewhere and there will be mistakes along the way...but you will also pick up many tips/tricks/methods....stick with it. Something that may help you with tasks like fitting that servo arm is to take pictures/notes on how it was before.
