Traveling abroad by plane with Traxxas Revo 3.3

Hey guys. Monday I have my flight towards my home (Hungary) and I wanna take my Revo 3.3 with me. Ive read a bunch of stories on google about people getting them thru easily and some getting them confiscated. Now, I bought 2 cans of Nitro Blaster, the Nitro RC cleaner stuff and I've cleaned the car properly. No fuel residue, Fuel Tank dry, tubes dry, exhaust clean, engine clean, chasse, suspension, wheels clean. Did anybody ever fly with their Nitro RC over Wizzair? Can you tell me your experience, tips please?

i havent use wizzair, but i travel last month to asia with all my nitro racing stuff(lipo battery, diff&shock oils and parts) and put all of them inside my luggage and i never had a problem. i flew from heathrow 4.

you sould be ok with your RC. just dont bring fuel or even that nitro blaster or those kind of stuff that is a big NO in the plane. the only thing that your going to have problem is, if your using lipo or life to power up your nitro car. coz some of airline wont let you to bring it. im not sure about mine when i put all my RC stuff in my bag or maybe im just lucky that day. but if your using nimh battery that sould be ok just put tape on connector.

hope this will help you

If you still have time, why not contact the Travel Agents and/or Airline.

It could avoid a lot of embarrassment and frustration on 'travel day' even if the answer is 'all baggage is scanned at that airport and it WILL NOT get through'.

It is often a case that there are optional situations which literally require the Flight Captain's permission on the day.

I've had that with other things - a cyanide anti-dote which contained something which was already listed as a poison ... that was a long time ago, but the Captain agreed.
