Bigjimknickers
I'm afraid mine will be the pikey Dbxl of the bunch! Only planning on sorting the stock shocks, a pull start filter, an Fid alloy clutch carrier an the killer Rc pack. Oh an a switchblade, but I need to decide if I keep this spektrum or use a 3 Ch fly sky Gt3C.
Bigjimknickers
Very nice looking pipe that Jim. If I'm honest I'm a little concerned about the lack of meatiness to the expansion chamber compared to AJ's samba. My plan is to use the stock, run it in & tune it, so I have something to compare it to performance wise.
Carpmart
No pic of mine handy as I'm on the train, but I've got one too, can I join the club. I've spent my pennies on sorting the steering. I've gotten a completely new steering set up, inc a 0236 servo. Fitted Losi wheels and tyres and a Losi DBXL pipe. I also have a full brushless set up ready to install. Just haven't decided 100% to do this yet....
.AJ.
Have you tested the new steering yet Harvey?
Bigjimknickers
AJ, are you planning on some type of volt meter? What I mean is does that lipo need to be storage charged ect, how will you know if it's dropping to lvc?

What I mean is does that lipo need to be storage charged ect, how will you know if it's dropping to lvc? I've got telemetry on my radio gear, so the RX voltage pops up on the screen and I can set a low voltage alarm on the TX if I want. I'll storage the lipo everytime ive finish using it. Oh How Original
Is it accurate on Sanwa then? I know Spektrum is absolute turd.... Apparently Futaba is decent, but not heard any feedback on the accuracy of Sanwa telemetry.
Leeb
If only it was still this clean. Only change so far are some outerwears. I'm waiting for the steering crank and windshield to turn up. Got a killer rc kill switch, cv shields and some black netting to fit to the side windows. Just need some time to get it all sorted out. .AJ.
Works perfect, it's as accurate as the voltage setting on my CC 10a BEC, ie with the BEC set to 7.4v, 7.4v is what pops up on the screen of the MT-
.AJ.
Just seen this on another forum And good cheap alternative to Killer RC lipo and no need for bigger lids

.AJ.
It's great, you can see how well your BEC is working by watching how much the voltage drops under load
Bigjimknickers
I'm currently looking at the futaba 4pls now! Bad influence! Oh & great find with that rx pack, the pdbxl will love that. (Pikey desert buggy XL)
.AJ.
I can't comment how well Futaba telemetry works, but before I bought the MT-4 I tried out both hand sets and the Futaba didn't feel good in my hand at all, the trigger seem to close and uncomfortable, were as the MT-4 was fit perfect in my gorilla hands lol
Hawkpalmer
That fid rattlesnake pipe is annoyingly loud! Good luck with that, very tinny!
Bigjimknickers
http://www.horizonhobby.com/74v-4000mah-2s-15c-lipo-receiver-pack%3A-dbxl-dynb0501 Interesting, states that the stock servos can't handle lipo.
Bigjimknickers
That fid rattlesnake pipe is annoyingly loud! Good luck with that, very tinny! I'll give it a chance, if it irritates me, (which most pipes do, I have to use a silenced dom on my baja) then it'll be sold in for a silenced one at a later date. .AJ.
I've google searched it, I've yet to read any real horror stories about lipos usage with the stock servos
