Electric buggy for novice

Thank you. Good questions. Brushed or brushless... Hmm. No idea what the difference is really. Last time I raced electric about 20 years ago it was all brushed. What does brushless bring??

Size - 1/10 or ideally 1/8.

Budget. As cheap as possible really. I know that's a cop-out but I'm not sure what to expect...

I have a maverick strada xb evo roller in good condition. Could add servo and radio gear. You would just need to sort ESC and motor.

If interested I can get pictures.
