Yeah that looks good for the price, and eventually I will upgrade it

What batteries would you suggest? I don't need the best ones and the most reasonably priced would be best

Has anyone done a dyno test with that trackstar 1900kv vs tekin 1900kv. Ide be intrested to see the results.

Jay those turnigy black case lipos are a bad idea the plastic cases just shatter. I had a new one in a slash 2wd the end around the wires shatterd within 10min from new.

Then i brought a savage xs with one included and that lipo was shatterd aswel.

Maxamps from giant shark are pretty good value and the hardcases on those feel alot better and much thicker. But zippy has a great rep too.

Any idea what pinion size would be good for an xray xb8e, with a hobbywing 150a esc and turnigy 1900kv motor?

P.s. Would this motor be better than the one suggested further up?

Thanks

I now have a tekin combo on the way, which leaves me to my next question, is this battery good? I will by two and run them in series, they are cheap and Brca approved....

Thanks

I bought 2 of those 7.5 ultimates a couple of weeks ago, so far they have been excellent. They made their full sticker rated capacity on the first cycle and seem to be performing very well so far. I also have 6 of the 5.6 nanotech packs that are my most frequently used battery's, they have performed very well over the winter so I have no reason to doubt the ultimates will also be very good.

Something else worth noting if you use bullets for your battery wiring is that these battery's use a 5mm bullet connection. Fortunately they also come with 4 to 5 mm adapters so you can still use your original wiring.
