RCMonkee
The rain held of Sunday so a few of us hit the coast. Wind was in the perfect direction if not a bit to strong for the glider but it went up anyway Fun trying to combat with the wildthing with the glider. Going to have to order me one of those

jjh23
What's the score with flying up yelverton then guys, me an the kids usually take our cars up there, do you fly there often or get any bother? I usually go over the other side as its a bit quieter.
RCMonkee
Hey, we normaly go over the otherside, away from the main road. Never had a problem flying at that spot. Few of us have started meeting sunday afternoons if the weather is ok.

RCMonkee
Got a little wing from ebay a couple of weeks ago. Put new servos in it and gave it a new covering. Waiting for its first outing. Should be good for the summer
RCMonkee
So after finally receiving and building the Wildthing the wind picked up and was able to take it out. http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/205703-sas-wildthing/ This thing is really strong. Infact i was so confident in that it wouldnt break i put my Turnigy 9XR around my 11year old daughters neck and let they her have a go. She's never even flown anything before! To be honest she didnt do bad. It did take a few eye watering beatings on the harsh Granite rocks of Dartmoor but it still looks great. These things are awesome. Some video of the afternoons flying....

RCMonkee
After Racing at South West Indoor for about a year and flying in the awesome 'back yard' i always wanted to fly under the Viaduct. Flown over it many times but never under. It looks further than you think and flying LOS the plane gets fairly small. Well last week i finally did it. 3 or 4 times Got one on film...... Got the speedo online along with a mate. we got them from www.slopeside.co.uk but it looks like they have stopped trading. They only had a few left when we got ours and i think they where the only importer of them unfortunetly. I dont have a number but he is on several forums. Rob Thompson..... You might be lucky.
