Hoboa Hyper 7 TQ sport or HPI Trophy 4.6 V2 truggy. Fun, durability / less frustration and easy to work on are my priorities. I am not planning to really bash it mega hard. Thanks. Drummerman Posted February 3, 2015 Share Posted February 3, 2015 I own both these trucks. For me HPI is better for bashing, ie Truggy is easier to drive and better over rough ground. But Hyper is a lot tougher, never had to replace any parts/linkages on the Hyper. Replaced loads on the HPI. Both good fun and parts are easy to come by. Joeloliver Posted February 3, 2015 Author Share Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) Thanks all. I ended up getting the HPI. I like the extra size and the fact it's waterproof. It was a pig to start up. Once I warmed it up with the hairdryer it was fine. It was a close call. The hyper does look tougher though..
