I'm still around but priorities have shifted slightly, as has my preferences in the hobby. As the bashing scene died out up here I'm building more than bashing and as I'm more into mountain biking now even that's taken a back seat.

well i have a place near me that's pretty good, kind of a muddy shale even in this weather is pretty dry.

been trying to find some parking close to this area for a while and finally found some when i checked on yahoo maps thats around 100-200 yards away so spent a few hours down there and had a blast. looks like its used by some lads on crossers too as there a knobbly tire tracks everywhere and i can see why as there is some awesome jumps in this area and its a nice surface. perfect for a large scale RC

The bank up to the A186 also has a small flat bit on it so you can stand up there and look down on the cars, bit like whats at the grassy field on the seafront at tynemouth.

would love to try and mark out a proper track, its just waste land so no one would give a toss.

its not a patch on steetley quarry but its also not a mission of a drive to get too
