Alex97
One of the hottest new trucks being shown at the Nuremburg Toy Fair is the HPI Jumpshot MT. 1/10th scale in size, the Jumpshot is a 2wd monster truck designed for serious bashing. A 2.4GHz radio system comes standard, while a brushed power system provides affordable power. A large bottom mount battery tray has plenty of room for various styles of packs while a twin vertical plate chassis is used for strength. PraetoR
Looks nice, but I don't like the position of the servo. One wrong-angled crash into a rock...

Alex97
The wheels are tires look terrible but I think the rest of the truck looks really good. The price will be the decider tho.
Popular Post Si Coe
How on earth does it look old and dated? What older design is it supposed to look like? Why do people think the front end looks weak? Big chunky plastic parts aren't always stronger. If you don't like it that's fine. Its not my cup of tea either, but don't make up reasons to bash it! People moan all the time about re-re's and old chassis with a new shell etc, but the moment a major company releases an all new platform it gets slated before we've even seen one run. Si Coe
My point. How does the chassis look cheap? Its machined anodised alloy just like lots of other models - the cut doesn't look rough, the anodising looks even so really the only differences between this and every other alloy chassis is the colour (which is a bit tacky) and that its TVP. It actually looks significantly less cheap than a plastic chassis Stampede. Those are standard variable body mounts like used on on road cars. They will make it easy to fit different bodies. Not as tough as a fixed mount, but fitted for a good reason.
Alex97
the plastic looks strong and good quality, the chassis looks nice. I don't know why people are digging it?

nr73
I'd say it looks a lot better but than a cheap plastic stampede for the same money. HPI have had a bit of a gap at the 1/10 scale, the XS is small and complex while the regular savage is a bit too large and serious for some folk. Gaz!
If it's half as strong as the big savage then I reckon it could well be a winner.... Orange is Hpi own colour like Tamiya has blue etc. I could well be tempted into one of these, done the stampede route and currently don't have a mt so will keep my eyes on this. Presume it's brushless ready? Esc should be the same as the axial one (sc3wp or something) and great but the motor will be the usual tat that is the firebolt.... Plenty of 2.8 tyres to choose from too, trenchers or badlands will do quite nicely.....
