Tamiya 58611 Willy's Wheeler re-release

Because the world demands re-issues of models which command stupid money second hand?

I agree that as laurel resters, the crown is earned, however they know that whatever they produce will sell. In large volumes. Such is the brand power. The Japanese market will be all over this like a rash, fo sho ;)

Oh boy, just when I was finally happy with my collection this pops up.....

Been after a original for a while but the last decent one went on eBay for over four hundred quid and I would want to run it....

This is a must and I shall be having one ASAP.......

Is it the Honda city turbo? I saw that car on old top gear and loved it i thought it could be cheap first car but i was wrong. Ill try to find the top gear episode with it. Thers a new honda city coming out this year mayb tamiya will release one too.

It's the Honda City Turbo, which is this ugly in real life. I reckon this will sell fast, like preorder now fast. I'm putting in for 3 of them; play/display/preserve

Can't really have a go at Tamiya for re-releasing old ranges. That's market forces for you. They have taken the unprecedented step of listening to the customer base* and re-released several classics over the last couple of years. I personally hope they continue to do it.

*this statement does not apply to the recently released Grand Hauler IMO
