NitricRC
Ok I have looked at the brushless version of FTX Sidewinder and that's running a 2750kv motor with a 11.1v 3s Lipo so would this combo be ok for my conversion? http://www.ebay.co.u...=item43c6b399ff

mini-z-awd
you really want a lower turn motor the one your showing is really 1/10-1/12 territory
Alex97
I'd say that would be a great combo, that motor has more than enough power on 3s.
Deafty
you reall need 1:8 leccy gear. That is 1:10 and motor will struggle Esc is ok on 4s but get a bigger can,. Check hw site under 1:8 Edited January 27, 2015 by Deafty
Si Coe
The Sidewinder is only 1/8th on paper. Its an overgrown 1/10th 2wd buggy so a pretty grunty 1/10th system will be fine. It comes with a brushed 550 as standard, but then so do Rustlers. Edited January 27, 2015 by Si Coe
