Hi guys,

I'm going to try to start 1/12 pan car racing and I was wondering what the best chassis is (or at least people opinions). I will be Tring for the brca nationals in 2016 with so I will need someone to point me in the direction of the rule and regulations for the brca nationals. I want to be able to have a lot of upgrades available and be able to have a lot of tuning? Best electric chassis?

Cheers, Kieran

Hi mate.

I used to run an associated rc12r5.1 pan car. I didn't run it for long, it's so hard haha.

Cars are super quick, even in stock class. They eat through tyres because you have to lathe them down to a band as well so it's quite expensive. You need at least a 90c 1s lipo to even get close to being competitive and you need a motor with sooooo much timing.

The guys I raced with are really helpful and they enjoyed it but it's not for everyone. Everyone that went well with me ran crc, zen, or serpent cars.

You will need a micro servo too which is about 75quid for a good quick one
