looks ok

I don't know if anyone else has noticed how ESCs from different manufacturers will make their own unique sound? Castle in particular produces a very distinctive "ring" from whatever motor you connect to it. This offering from Toro mimics that "ring" exactly, not just the start up beeps, but the sound the motor makes on the fly. Cloned internals?

I had one of these esc's, was faulty so had to send it back, unfortunately seller didn't have one in stock so got refund and bought an alien esc

Which Alien? Pleased with it? What's it in? Pics?

there are opinions on the net that suggest the 780kv motor is a castle clone

It wouldn't surprise me in the least! Make the can look slightly different and you'd easily get away with an exact copy of the internals, after all they all look pretty much the same inside. It comes down to choice of materials and construction process that sets the top flight gear from the pap.

its the 350amp version, yes very pleased so far, had a lot of help from Bruno setting it up, its in a mcd monster truck with a tp motor, only problem was mounting it, I got Bruno to tap some holes in bottom of esc, then mount it above motor, but is solid, sorry cant do pics or "quote" on this forum. I can on other forums though

I've got the 12S, 300 Amp version. Happy so far except for the lack of mounting holes/lugs. It's in my Baja running 10S and mated to a Leopard 58110, 520kv motor. All good so far.

that's good news, good to see more of these being used.

Have you got any vid? Youtube channel?

Haven't got the room, plus I've just built up a DBXL that needs finishing.

They do take up space, a lot of space.

no vid of it running, xl2 is back in at mo due to wanting to see performance difference between my mcd castle comboand todds castle xl2 razor set up, I got bored waiting for him to get his truck running so put tp motor in, that's night and day compared to castle 2028, now I have his boat to do, my boat arrived from America and now I have a petrol mcd to modify so alien has took a bit of a back seat for now

What do you mean "night and day difference"? Which one's better? Castle motor or TP?

sorry, tp is quicker, couldn't keep front end down at any point of acceleration, castle didn't do that both on 8s, had tp off ground on 12s with alien, think somethings gonna break transmission wise, if not it will when I put a bigger tp in

What's the specs of the TP?
