WreckitRhodey Posted December 18, 2014 Share Posted December 18, 2014 Hi gents, been off the seen for a while due to selling my baja i lost interest but have decided to get an MS01-D RTR from Soul RC and was wondering what people rate electrics wise as in what motor ESC combo's and any must do upgrades? The RTR now comes with a cs 1.58 ratio and a FOW anything you lads would suggest deal-wise though as i say i buried my head in the sand for a few months and it feels like starting again Thanks In Advance gents, Josh Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
scratcher Posted December 19, 2014 Share Posted December 19, 2014 It's a great starter chassis. I started with one at the beginning of the year and didn't really need to change very much. I'd recommend getting G the brushless version if you can, to save having to upgrade the motor and ESC for a long while. Adjustable turnbuckles are very handy as it saves taking the arms off every time you want to make a small adjustment. scratcher Posted December 19, 2014 Share Posted December 19, 2014 Ah, in that case, it's all the same chassis, just minus the electrics. The turnbuckles and dampers are still the first upgrades I'd recommend. I've changed a few other parts on mine but they're not essential.
