I read the beginners FAQ pinned at the top of the page about the stick pack batteries fitting better in a hyper 7 so I've just got some and they don't fit in the battery tray , they're to long, I don't know what others do whether you take the battery tray out and cable tie them to the chassis or what but could someone help me please?

Just reading through again (with a clearer head) :)

Be sure which box you have. In the picture below there are the two boxes, the bottom (grey) is TQ and the top (black) is TQ2.

TQ can use stick or hump. The other grey battery holder will hold the hump and the one fitted in the picture is for the stick pack...neither the stick or the hump will fit in the box...they fit on the side.

TQ2 will only take a hump pack and it fits inside the box.

Hope that is clearer. :)
