Nitroholic
'Black Friday' is an American thing .... it's the day after Thanksgiving, when the shops try and kickstart the Christmas shopping and boost sales. For us in the UK ... it's just a Friday like any other.

atom3624
I think it's starting to go deeper. There are several RC shops aware that many of us punters hunt around, and are not afraid of shopping abroad for an 'overall better deal', of which there can be many with Black Friday. Some shops are indicating 'pre Christmas sales' prices reduced in a similar fashion, if not exactly calling it Black Friday, but I reckon its with a view to not losing potential sales to competitors abroad .. Gaz!
Can't be bothered with this whole Black Friday thing, if we need something, we buy it, no point holding out, waiting in queues, no stock for the sake of a few quid really.... turok007
in the UK shops put the price up for a few days then change it back and call it a sale. so be very careful when buying a so called bargain.
atom3624
.... and if you're after a household bargain, then, GENERALLY, if it can wait until January, shops know most of us are 'financially knackered' and have the January sales ....
