Cheshirelad
Hi lads first post so be gentle please. I was eager to start my new hyper and for got to turn on receiver and transmitter. Now I can't get them talking to each other again? Have I done any damage by starting the car without them on??? Thanks in advance.
jordanp
do you have a booklet and a binding plug? they should have instructions on binding
Cheshirelad
Yea I've tried that but can't get them to bind. Not sure if the sr300 is getting faulty power as the green led flickers then goes off.
Cheshirelad
Is it possible I've burnt both servos out? Or receiver?
Gashead
By starting the car without the trans or reciever on you have not damaged them at all. Just means you wouldn't have had any control over the throttle. Am i assuming you have bought this car second hand? Suggest you do as Jordan said and try and re bind if so, but as i sadi starting the car will have no bearing on it
Cheshirelad
Yea second hand. All worked fine as a dry test but after starting up without turning them on I had nothing since. I've tried re binding but can't seem to get them to bind. The green led on the sr300 blinks then turns off. This was making me think it could possibly be power? Cheshirelad
Sussed it! Disconnected battery pack and reverted back to original 4 battery pack plugged in and connects straight up. So it's faulty battery or dodgy wiring from what I can see.
