Good race!!

Had to go to Liverpool to collect the family from church, recording on Sky, listening on Radio 5 ....

Now on catch up on Sky whilst watching the blobs on F1.com - used to give sector times - hate those blobs!

Race looks good for me!

Ran out of beer.

No wine in.

Had to hit the Drambuie - shame!!

This season's been SUPERB!!

Rumours ....

Audi in for 2015 - if not, then 2016 - but that will be to leave WEC ... so don't know as I LOVE Le Mans!!

Perhaps they leave WEC, but come back for Le Mans?

I'm on lap 50 on the catch up - nice when you know!!

Lewis for Sports Celebrity - I know loads who would not like that .... !!

Honda back in 2015 with the Maccas will be brilliant!!

Where's JB going? Hope he stays - F1's nicest guy!!

Webber was great as well!

Quite liking Bottas!

Bottas is going to be a bit of a threat for everyone next year i think.

Audi arent on the provisional teams list so probably not for a 2015 appearance.

I just hope that Williams can keep up the good work and don't go back to how they were.

Season's ended with LOADS of questions .......

This is a good thing.

Audi was a hint I read somewhere - valid?  Who knows.

Team Haas = Marussia?  Again, who knows ......

F1 can only get better....

After Nico putting up such an excellent fight to Lewis ... that can only be good for F1 !!!!

anything interesting happening for 2015?

Honda!

PS- I iz no VTEC yo momma u diggedy bruv?!

Honda have a great motorsport pedigree along with a large wad of cash...can they come back and be at the top again...mmm...I am looking forward to that.  :)

Where will Alonso go....did Mclaren really keep both drivers hanging on a thread this long (if they ditch Button then that would seem unfair as he will never return to F1)....will Renault get a grip or will Honda surpass them in the first year.....how is Vettel going to perform in next years Ferrari......what will the next RB be like now that Newey has taken a backseat....etc....so many unanswered questions. :)

Oh yea be awesome to see if honda make Mclaren a real force, take the wind out of Mercedes who people have already said will end up dominating next year too thanks to their cars...lets hope that isnt the case..

In regards to Marussia they were provisionally going to compete under Manor F1 as Manor Motorsport being owners or part owners of Marussia however its been confirmed that Manor f1 has ceased trading so its highly unlikely Marussia will appear in 2015.

BUT who knows, hell everyone thought Caterham f1 were gone and then crowd funding happened lol so lets see!

Eddie Jordan 'confirmed a rumour' that the other RB - Ross Brawn will return to F1 and be the Team Manager for VAG F1 in 2017 .....

Later than the initial rumour I had read relating to Audi, but teamed up with Brawn .. perhaps Newey might make an appearance .....

This time of the year is frustrating, and fascinating at the same time.

Agreed, with Honda's competition pedigree, it SHOULDN'T take them long to make Mercedes' cars honest ....

Yummy!!

Unfortunately only Mclaren can bring themselves back to the front, not Honda. They had the best engine on the grid this year and look where it got them, almost the worst of the Mercedes-powered teams bar Force India - who they only just beat thanks to double points in the desert.

I've been a Mclaren fan for years and hope I'll be eating my words this time next year ;)

Biased as I am, I want #3 for Lewis.

I would love JB to stay at McLaren ...

Agreed, engine / power units are a big part but of a much bigger picture - aero, weight distribution, transmission and strategy play a big role .... then there's the drivers.

Time to sit back and wait for 3 months to 'fly by' ...

I agree James....but let us all be thankful that the Redbull was/is not using the best engine...the RB was still the best car on the grid.

I would not say that I am a fan of any team (nor driver really)...but I would say that Mclaren have had a fair few reshufles (notably Neweys right hand man (Peter Prodromou (ye had to look that spelling up))). :)

Honda are not going to Mclaren without making things happen...they just can not...I am sure of it....but we will see. :)

When Honda left JB and Rubens in the lurch, their 3.0 V10 was regularly revving over 19k, up to 20k and producing 1000 bhp - basic or not, got to love that brute force - and wonderful noise.

On the noise front, the V6 hybrids actually sounded not too bad in the last race - could even be heard sounding like a '6'.

Agreed with Anthony Davidson that the 'harvesting' sound is weirdly fascinating - bit like something you might hear in a War of the Worlds movie or something!!

Glad Ant is ANOTHER British champion - albeit a team effort.

Always thought Ant was the best Honda driver - even when RB and JB were there - he was the 3rd driver and often outperformed them in the practice sessions - agreed, no idea of fuelling, aero, weight distribution, tyre condition ... but it happened on a regular basis.

Can't wait till next year.

Reckon Mercedes will storm out,

RB will be better - agreed, their car handled at least as well as the Mercs, but lacked pace (power),

Maccas won't be great immediately, but after 3 races, they'll be on the podium ...

Ferrari - won't like no wins in a season ... 'Finger' will get on the podium, but no wins till later on ...

Crystal balls just fallen off the table and just broken!!

Your crystal ball did not break..it just bounced... :)

Ferrari will have another few bad years...McL and Merc will fight it out with RB next best...(note to self- never forget Williams)!

I read today that McL will decide next years drivers after a meeting on Thursday.

I think that if they are taking Alonso then they should keep Button for one more year and keep Magnussen as test/reserve (after the year he will replace Button).

As said before I am not a fan of any driver but I think Button will have more to give than Mag. with a new car/engine and he has worked with (probably) the same Honda people before...and he was stronger this season, albeit Mag. was in his first year.

They're certainly dragging it out with poor old JB!!

That is very unfair.

Perhaps, now that he's not in 'the public eye', he actually knows what's happening.

To leave it that late without knowing, would have been very embarrassing during the last GP, multi millionaire or not!

Still no word on Button from what I can see...

Other things though...provisional 21 races next season...FIA announced Bianchi did not slow sufficiently (get on)......maybe VAG in F1 in the future.

Yeah, it was pretty obvious with Bianchi.

Really annoying for JB - I thought it was going to be 1st December - that was the original plan. They're really dragging it out.

Could be interesting with VAG - they do own Bugatti and Lamborghini .... as well as Skoda, Seat ... did somebody mention Bentley ... pretty prolific.

Pity their boss doesn't see eye-to-eye with Ecclescake - probably as he's over 6 feet tall and Bernie ... isn't!!

Hehe...nah it can not be the height issue...Bernie likes them tall...you seen his wives right?! :)

I would take a stab at the VAG man not being able to be bought....in the world of Bernie everything and everyone has a price....you have seen his wives right?!  :tease:

That's a bit harsh!!

Still no news on the JB story - not good for McLaren that.

Must admit, I'm looking forward to seeing Hondas again, and the idea of Lamborghini, Bugatti, ... sorry VAG there as well...
