Hey guys!

Having recently dove into the world of multirotor's I have been amazed by and eager to dive into the world of FPV too, as with everything though, price is the main issue :(

Having trawled to net looking for a cheap FPV setup (has to be an all in one setup as I'm a newb when it comes to FPV) I had found that the fatshark teleporter v3 was the one to catch my eyes as one of the cheapest/most appealing setups. That was until the other day anyway, when I had an email from hobbyking with their latest items, what do you know, a cheap plug and fly setup for as little as $95

I got a very similar set up. Has the Hobbyking Quanum goggles along with the skyzone Video TX/RX.

The quality of the screen in the goggles is actually very good, much better than expecting. They are abit combersom but for the price and  a first delve into FPV i think they are great.

I hooked it upto my AXN and had its first flight. Strange but fun experience and give a whole new perspective to flying. The antennas that come with the kit are pretty poor and will need replacing. I have replaced them with the omnidirectional clover type which are only a few pound each.

The system can easil be moved from one model to another as both TX/RX are powered by their own 3s lipo. No camera came with my kit so I use a Gopro as the main camera as it will also record as you fly.

All in all its a great bit of kit for the money. I have also made a small base station with a tripod and a portable dvd player so it can be veiwed on the monitor aswell as or instead of the goggles

Might be worth a browse if you thinking of getting these goggles

Yeh i got the FatShark Predator V2 with the 600TVL and the Eachine combo which for the money is good value but not as good.

Watch the EACHLINE transmitter mate.I bought one and it lasted 10 mins from Banggood. They go red hot.If you mount it near a prop the wash off the prop will cool it down.

Used mine on the plane and 250 quad, performs pretty good with decent antenna. It does get hot but not been a problem. For the money I think its great value, easily replaced if the inevitable happends.

I think the eachline transmitters are pretty much built to be replaced frequently, considering their low price. I've had similar problem with a bundle, but at that price it's worth investing in something that will last a tad longer.
