Definitely go for the well used look and paint the drivers door a bright colour maybe? I did one of these a while ago and added a few dents etc. Personally It will look more scale so come on strip the shell and get some scrapes on that beauty you have :P

Unfortunately this body has now been discontinued, however, there is a new version with a couple small updated being released around September this year.

Ohhh any pre-release pictures David?

Also I think those plastic bumpers make a Hilux look absolute crap, get them off it lol.

I used to run an RC4WD straight steel bumper and it looked so much better IMO.

Another thing to consider is chopping the front off, just the bottom part, it stops the tyres grabbing the shell, it made a world of difference for me, if you want, drop me a PM and I'll shoot you some more detailed pictures over of the bit I mean.

This was my bumper.

Hmmm, I see some very very minor changes and a drop in price.

I like it.

Yeah no major changes, it's mainly the rear bed. I might just get the rear bed for mine. I wonder what the UK price will be though. I was lucky to get a deal on my Hilux as I bought a new Dingo kit and some other parts at the same time.

I also fancy getting a Land Rover pick up body but can't understand why it is so expensive compared to the regular D90.

Because it's all done by hand and I can personally say it does take a lot of man hours to do the conversion lol.

IMO the oval back looks horrid, I prefer the more extended cab one I did on my own.

A lot of pride goes into a big modification like that, it's worth tackling yourself.

Got about 40 hours in my pick up 90 as yet and it's still not finished or perfect either.....

No pic until it's done though :tease:
