ok im getting bored of chucking my truck round my local bmx track and got thinking there has to be more people out there in the south west who know a good place to bash/crawl so was thinking maybe we could all get together somewhere that everyone agrees on and either before or after xmas be good to see how many people out there could make it and start a south west bashers club

I go to Ham Hill country park mostly just outside Yeovil. There is a small track there.

Me and the boy go crawling on Haytor quite a bit, few good spots there for the Slash and Savvy as well.

I've just gone into this section for the first time to post about the lack of 'action' on here in Devon, and came across this thread!

So anybody know any good bashing places for MT's or SCT's in South Devon, in particular around Torbay?

torquay bmx track is good, very hard on trucks but that might be me getting Wellie it syndrome!

I already use the BMX track at Paignton - very hard on trucks... and also the one up from the big field on the Teignmouth road.  I'm hoping to find somewhere a little kinder to the truck but still with various 'sensible' size jumps.  The search continues...

Tiverton has that nice bmx track just down from the McDonald's, what are the chances of getting in there? I'm working in Tivvy at the moment, repointing the old Belmont hospital.

if ur talking about the track in armory park then usually in school times its quiet. if u want let me know when ur planning on going over there and ill come join u if im not working lol

Had a recce at the track today, sweet baby Jesus, some of the jumps look like the savvy will go into orbit! Taking the lads to maccys to get lunch and they can fill their faces while I bash.

Any decent bashing places around Newton Abbot / Torquay?  Really struggling to find anything - either too tame (flat) or too extreme (bmx tracks).

Smashed both rear shocks on one corner, well worth it though! Tivvy track is a beast, not ideal with Badlands though.

Where abouts are you, there's a few reasonable places in Newton.

I'm in torquay, but anything newton to Paignton would be good if I've only got an hour or so spare.

Haytor is always good for a bash, nice area at the back of the middle car park.

butcher u should of dropped me a message I would of come joined u me and another lad on here used to thrash our slash's on there and the only thing we used to break was the odd shock shaft lol

Just seen this...... What did you think? It was the one by Torquay golf club off Teignmouth road? I find the main problem is the jumps are too big, doesn't seem to matter where you stand the truck is almost always out of view. Similar layout but third scale would be awesome!!!
