Weirdly this happened with my ride on mower lol

It would start fine when cold but when it was used for awhile and then you switched the engine off, go to start it again and it just wouldn't turn over...

I think they finally diagnosed it as a dodgy ignition coil (I could be wrong though)

Probably doesn't help you much does it :/

i had a fiesta do it to that had cooling problems and the fan didn't work , radiator was useless and leaked water as fast as i put it in. It was a mk1 fiesta tho so no sensors to cut it.

I only got around 10min drive before ide stall it or av to shut it off and leave it wherever for afew hrs. I was young tho so never fixed it. paid

Sounds like ecu then my bro Inlaws corsa c kept draining the battery every few days changed alternator etc went in to Vaux in London to find out was ecu & @ 1400 quid to replace he traded it in with a charged battery lol

I think its an ecu problem, its a common accurance for the vaux, I had the same issue with a combo van, turned out to be ecu. Its not gonna be a cheap.fix whichever way you go about it. The leccy part would be someone who would be able to feed/earth the fuel pump a different way to prove the point, but that does of course add to the put of pocket expenses.

Your lucky there not that dear on feeBay for your model less than 100 notes gets you the ecu halo ring chip responder just need someone local to program it. If you have a local rac guy in your area ask him if could set it up out of work time . Beats paying garage labour prices .

Maybe worth popping on the vauxhall forums too for a good read , some you can do yourself as your using the ecu matched to ignition etc. May save yourself a few quid. Even if he says 40 to 50 notes fitted it's better than going to main dealer or independent specialist I guess. Hope it gets your problem sorted. Did you tell him your issues your having ? He may say its sumut else but Deffo seems ecu . Could just be a dry joint on board . Another thing to check is the main round harness plug to fuse box under the hood un twist it an give it a spray with wd or scrub with old tooth brush lol the pins can get a dry joint too.

Yep bud I only used wd on mrs old bus cause that's all had to hand at the time I did both plugs on hers just to be safe as the fuel pump imob kept cutting in every now & then it sorted the issue after that. Hers was a common issue on that side of fuse box lucky it wasn't water corrosion like members on the forum I went on had hers was just plug. It's worth a shot trying it to eliminate the issue .
