long time gone but back to stay

I have a Marder I was getting going. I would be happy to sort a deal with you on that if you like. It needs an RX pack to run.
The air filter failed on it so i bought another one which i haven't fitted. I think it'll go on but if not one of them would be needed too.

I was going to play with it for a bit and sell it when I got bored anyway. It has various upgrades from Alloy engine mounts to a Extra Large Single servo.

I'd consider a DBXL.

Brand new there's only the issue of over-oiled air filters initially.

Generally don't hear much against them.

LOADS of hop-ups.

Favourite BIG one is the 5ive, but that seems to need more room, and money.

thats nice mate whats the pros and cons with shortening it mate and what it run like?

like are the rear end happy my marder used to just slip the diff and not really shift it i tried spinning it round like that

HPI diff is worlds better than the old FG one.

I used to run an FG Monster, but hated the diff. Was always cocking a rear wheel and spinning away all the power. My solution... Take an HPI KM clone, and hack a big lump out of the chassis until it was as short as an FG Monster. then bolt on adaptors to allow me to run FG monster wheels. It has an FG shell, FG wheels ... but HPI suspension and diff. The only thing I didn't do was modify the steering to use FG style layout...which I have done on my HPI Baja sandrail build. I reckon the FG layout gives better steering lock and more direct feel. Just the HPI drivetrain and diff is so much better than FG, and the longer travel shocks are miles better than any FG ones too.

My problem lay in the fact that I liked bits of various car designs.....so I just messed about until I got something I liked :)
