What doddy said. The heatsink really helps shift the heat too!

after a bit of research I've actually gone for a 2000kv 4082 should have plenty of grunt on 5s. The tekin just wasn't happy when I was doing speed tests tried pinions ranging from 15 to 20 and couldn't get it to stay below 60 degrees after 10 or so minutes

This motor is a bit of a torque monster so make sure your wheels are super tight and you tire gluing is up to scratch !!..

Found for me it was too much as it would punch out so much power it would round the hex in the wheel too often on the mt4.. To be honest i never found a huge improvement on temps some yes, but there is a huge torque improvement !!

I thought brushless motors were fine with out heatsink or fans. I switched my brushed motor that had a heatsink on for a brushless leopard and never put the heatsink back on. Reading this maybe I should. I got 2 so might try and put both on to help temps.
