Red is for permanent applications blue is for non permanent....basically red is bleeding hard to get out and you would generally round a screw before being able to remove it whereas blue can be removed just tougher than normal.

I get my screws/washers/nuts from my local "bolt and nut" store...or you can get most from eBay for good prices.

A general idea of what sizes you need and it doesnt take much to get the majority of what you need.

Gorilla tape? Basically any variety of duck tape....black nasty or whatever you want to call it.

Shoe goo is very similar to silicon sealant in a little tube but can be used for a wide variety of jobs and always comes in handy, modelsport sell it too.

Well that's a lot lol

I'll have a look at snap on for some of the tools I love the life time warranty :)

But we're to get a job lot of screw and washer and nuts ?

With out sounding thick what's is the difference I'm blue or red threadlock

nuts n blots I buy job lots from model brakers on ebay....either for ur model or any of the same scale....there mostly all the same size...

The threadlock I use is green? What's this one then? Lol

Depending what car I would recommend offset screwdrivers.

rtv silicone heat resistant for selling nitro engines,

Spare shims if needed.

I know washers were said but also o rings for likes of hsn/lsn as they do rot and/or crack up if over tightened.

Not a necessity but a switch, for the sake of a couple quid it's better to have one as that is what turns the electrics in and off on a nitro would suck with out one. (I had to replace mine and had to wait the weekend for a replacement)

also I think shoe goo as people calling it is shoo goo (I may be wrong) but it will also fill minor cracks in the shells to stop them getting bigger and ruining your shell.

A pair of lighters.

Even if you don't smoke, someone at the bash site will, and in the event of a Clipper failure, you can come to their aid :)

A packet of rizla, because you just never know who may need one, and, if getting bored, you can play the rizla game with friends :)

Gitagrip paste, a nice, slightly coarse substance which, when applied to a hex driver tip, can be the difference between getting a rounding hex out or not.

Superglue and activator

A small, portable, heated vat and a bottle of oil, because someone, somewhere, is always in need of a boiling.

I'd ditch the craft knife for a Stanley and a pack of many blades..

Associated green slime, because it coats o'rings and prevents leakages.

I looked for this and couldn't find it anywhere on google global,  Ebay or anywhere else.  do you have a link to where this can be bought?

Green is high strength studlock, blue is medium strength thread lock and red is high strength thread lock

But green high strength is not as strong as red high strength

Green and blue is what I use
