Diff oil?

Recommended Posts

A very useful chart that, different trucks respond differently to diff oil weights. They are listed either as cst or wt. Some are comparable others are not.

Example 350cst is approx 35wt, generally though diffs use much thicker oils in sc trucks. My old Slash I had 10k wt in the front 100k wt in the centre and 7k wt in the rear, yet my Tekno SCT410 uses 7k front 7k centre and 5k rear.

Im interested in this too, just took my home converted kyosho out for a spin and it was very easy as it tipped into corners the wheel with the weight off would spin easily, almost like a more locked diff would help it keep traction, would thicker oil help reduce that?
