I'll be very interested in how you get on with this, I'm thinking of one for my lad & me to share.

Hi there my friend so far it's been a great piece of kit taking it to the skate park tomorrow so we will see how it holds up but out of the box amazing product for the price :)

Looks really well made.... and there are some some design features that indicate it's been built to cope with a bit of abuse. Like the tall sideguards to keep the crud out.

Looks like there is room for a longer can motor too should you want it.

Ally shocks are nice too.

Have you tried it on 5S yet? Hobbywing ESCs are naughty with 5S and do not auto detect it. You have to manually set the car for it as the voltage output of a fully charged 5S is much the same as a drained 6S pack....  Would be nice to have a program card. Don't know if it's a re-branded ESC that you can use a HobbyWing card on or not.

Should be pronounced . Ti --- Fon. Named for the Greek Mythological beast, father of monsters and son of Tartarus.

Tartarus, as in the God of coarse textured, mayonnaise based sauces often served with seafood?

As for the buggy, hate the wheels, interested to see how durable it proves to be....

+1. I'd go for the Kraton with the extra length and width.

There's a lot to like about these. Plus Arrma & Durango are sister companies under the Hobbico umbrella. Can only be a good thing...

Looks real nice only thing that is a slight worry would be spares?. is there any available in the UK ? They seem to show in stock at Tower so worst case your be ordering state side or possibly waiting weeks ! .

I like the truggy but I don't like it's chassis as the end narrows for too much like the Durango 408t and that by all accounts bends quite easy .

I'd love to say get out and beat the snot out of it but if you break it with no spares here in the uk then it might be a while till it's fixed !!

Big squid have a mini review on the kraton seems OK range

not good, it will interesting to see timescales on your replacements

Yeah I hope it's just a one off as it performs so well I just hope that it will be dealt with sooner rather that later as I want to get on and test it but it's still unfortunate that this type of thing wasn't tested for :(

I'm sure they would have tested the combo before release, maybe you just got a bad one or something.

Hopefully they will short it and I really do hope I had a duff one becaus3 it's great car :)

Unfortunate typo. Hope they do sort it out soon for you mate. What was the handling like before the leccy failure?

The handling is good tyres are lacking on road but on grass they get enough grip to traction roll the car, when the servo was working it had enough speed and tourqe buy of course aft3r market would be better but over all great handling piece of kit

Sorry fella i think i may have put a curse on it for you :shockingscary:  its a real shame the fun was short lived !!

I do hope you can get it sorted ASAP but without any spares showing i do fear it may be better to ask for a complete new buggy ???..I'm sure the great guys at Modelsport will have you covered  ..
