catalin4u24
Just received this today. And some goodies for it At this moment it is all striped and in pieces Thankfully, it came with a manual as well so it shouldn't be to hard to put it back together. tapatalk Edited October 6, 2014 by catalin4u24

catalin4u24
It wasn't a Pro when I had it tho lol How so? It has all the Pro parts and more. Like the Cnc rear hubs, alloy chassis brace mount etc. It also came with a carbon front shock tower but I'm gonna be using the CNC one instead tapatalk
catalin4u24
It has all the X3S parts mate, this is defo a pro. tapatalk
.AJ.
There ain't a Pro spec X3E, I added the rear hubs, chassis brace mount, wing stay spacers and the towers were custom made by a bloke off RcTech, the chassis braces came with roller when I bought it, tbh it looks pretty much the same as when I sold it. Have a good read of my original build thread if you wanna know the build history of her
catalin4u24
Oh, then I better change the title then lol. Anyways, looks pretty good mate. The guy who bought it probably didn't used it so much. I will have a look at your thread as soon as I finish putting it back together. I'm replaceing the bearings and the diff oil at the moment Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

catalin4u24
There ain't a Pro spec X3E, I added the rear hubs, chassis brace mount, wing stay spacers and the towers were custom made by a bloke off RcTech, the chassis braces came with roller when I bought it, tbh it looks pretty much the same as when I sold it. Have a good read of my original build thread if you wanna know the build history of her It's missing the rear carbon shock tower. Probably dude broke it, anyways I like the cnc towers more and they look new. Also I still have your last black body shell and the yellow wheels, wheels at least look like new. Did u ever managed to convert it to v2? If not, I guess that's gonna be my mission. I need to buy a new shell and a rear wing, apart from that it's pretty mint Nice leccys on it as well. Made it easier for me. So far I love it, looks really really strong. I went for 7-10-3k oil diff wise and replaced some of the bearings. Also ordered new t-bones front and rear. Cheers tapatalk
.AJ.
The only v2 part on her is rear chassis brace mount, I've seen a complete v2 conversion kit on eBay for around
.AJ.
Found it http://www.ebay.com/itm/310915639852 It's also has a new rear toe plate and diff cases

catalin4u24
Got me new body shell. I'm yet to decide on the paint scheme. Don't want to try something to complicated though. Buggy is now serviced. I need to change the shock oil as well but I'm waiting for some shock guards and I'll probably do it then. Here's a photo of the chassis. I kept the motor the buggy came with, the Tenshock X802 and the Savox 1856. Fitted my Hobbywing Quicrun 150. I would like the change the motor at some point as I prefer to run it on 4s and 1850kv is rather slow. I tried 6s as well but it is too much. 5s is dodgy on the hobbywing, I need to manually set it and I don't like the idea so the plan is 4s. I might get an SC8 for it instead. I'm gonna keep the black body as a basher till it breaks and use the new one after. tapatalk
.AJ.
The idea of the 1850kv motor was to be able to hit 20mins under race conditions, a 2100kv would make a better basher motor tho
catalin4u24
Yes indeed Maybe a Castle 2200kv in the near future. I have received my shock guards today. Pic for reference if anybody else wants to try them : They are a direct fit on the HongNor big bore shocks tapatalk
