junglewarrior Posted October 2, 2014 Share Posted October 2, 2014 Hi guys, I upgraded my stock battery to Lipo and fitted gold plated banana plugs to the esc wires to fir the lipo. All was fantastic. Loads of power etc. Then I changed all the connectors on the ESC and batteries, since then it seems as though when I give it the beans it goes into some kind of safe mode. The ESC fan still carries on but I have no drive or steering. If I switch the ESC off then on again it works again for a while and then the same happens. I've replaced the AA's in the handset, tried the old Nimh battery and the same happens. Could poor soldering connections cause this kind of issue? Any ideas?
