maiL84 Posted September 23, 2014 Share Posted September 23, 2014 I recently upgraded my stock battery to a 2s lipo battery and was a well worthy upgrade! I contacted amerang to ask if it can take a 3s lipo and they said they wouldn't recommend it.The odd thing was I noticed printed on the ESC the otherday was'2-3s lipo'.Has anyone used a 3s lipo in this car without having to upgrade the esc? jp79er Posted September 23, 2014 Share Posted September 23, 2014 (edited) Hi and welcome, I have the TAMCO Raider which I am about to retire.....but its the same thing but the Truggy Version.. I use a 3c 3200mah with the standard 3065kv & ESC (WP-S10E-RTR) that came with it...I also changed the spur from the 72t to 62t.......I must admit it goes like something off a shovel.... I do find I strip spurs quite easily and that is where the problem lies with the car.....I cannot get them for love nor money ATM....so take good care of it. I did also find the tyres weren't up to it and popped a bead of one side.....but some big air I had from some crashes may not have helped that situation...LOL....
