My last couple questions about losi 8 battery tray...possibly maybe.

What do you guys use to line the tray and pad the ends? I have some thick double sided pads but wondered if anyone has any links to single sided stuff for the ends and thinkers stuff for the bottom of the tray.

Also (mainly directed at hyper 7 owners), I understand the motor mounting plate is recommended for the fitment of the tray at the end with the shelf for the esc. But what about the other end? Does it need to be spaced out to the same thickness of the motor mount (which I haven't got) or can it be fitted without a spacer?

Pictures would be helpful. I've used the search fiction on here and the main guides that come up are for hyper st's which don't need the motor mount.

Thanks.

It will depend on the size of ur batteries. ....my 6s fills the tray...jus do the straps up tight...and my 4s hardcase. .all 3 straps hold it ok....I use bit of sponge sum times to pad the end by the esc......I haven't lined the tray with anything tbh.....ain't had no issues

One thing I do is line the tray with velcro (buy it from Hobbyking in metre strips with super sticky backing) and line the underside of my batteries with velcro then when I put them in the tray and strap them down, generally with the velcro and straps there is no movement whatsover....maybe worth a try.
